What’s the deal with this Jesus coffee lady?

My name is Amanda, and my husband is Jason.  We have an incredible and entirely too smart 2-year-old boy named Avery who is going to be a big brother this November!  Every day I’m learning something new about what it means to be a wife and mother as a child of God.  There is so much yet to learn, and blogging is such a great way to share in that.

I set out on this blogging journey intending to be someone you could relate to.  That’s about when God put me on a journey to show me what that really means.  I care deeply about your hurts and hang-ups, and started blogging to endure those things with you.  However, I was unwilling to show you my own.  As a talker, I’m lighthearted and pretty hilarious (if I do say so myself).  As a writer, I am not that.  There’s a heaviness to the words that swirl around in this heart of mine.  I want to share what wisdom my 26-year-old baby self has acquired, but even more than that, I want to learn from you.

Always feel free to comment with ANY input, and always feel free to approach me via social media or email.  We are on this life journey together, so take my hand and let’s do this.

  1. Hey baby girl, all my babies are grown but I love reading about your adventures through this journey. After watching you grow up I’m interested to see how much of your mother comes through. Haha. And for those of you wondering, no I am not her mother. Amanda and my girls were best friends growing up and basically insepartable, so I love her as if she’s my own!

    1. Thank you!! Yes! On the bottom, right side of the screen (on a desktop or laptop… can’t view it logged out on any of my “smart” devices) there’s a little tab plus sign that says “follow.” If you click that you should be able to enter your email address and get email updates when I post.
